Britt Hawthorne (she/they) is an antiracist educator, speaker, and advocate dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments and raising a generation of antiracist children. As the author of the New York Times bestseller Raising Antiracist Children: A Practical Parenting Guide, Britt provides families with actionable tools to incorporate equity and inclusivity into everyday life.
After witnessing educational racism firsthand with her two Black sons, Britt transitioned from classroom teaching to anti-racist facilitation, partnering with educators to create equitable spaces for all learners. Through her powerful online presence and community engagement, Britt continues to inspire families and educators to turn the vision of equity in education into reality.
